Balayage FAQs
What’s the difference between balayage and highlights?
Highlights use foils in a regular pattern for brighter, more even blonde. Balayage is mostly painted freehand (sometimes with foils for extra lift) for a softer, natural-looking blend with a gentler grow-out.
How long does balayage last?
Most clients refresh every 3–4 months, with a toner gloss in between if they like their blonde extra clean.
Does balayage work on Asian or very dark hair?
Yes. We lift dark hair carefully with bond-building treatments and tone it to avoid orange. Very light results may take two sessions.
How much is balayage at The Blonde Tourage?
